MISS SAMOA USA PAGEANT

The Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) Board of Directors has unanimously approved the proposal that Salt Lake City, Utah will host the Miss Samoa USA Pageant. The pageant would appoint a title holder to participate in the forthcoming Miss Teuila Pageant in Apia, Samoa 2008. The Miss Samoa USA Pageant will follow the purpose of its sister pageants (Miss Samoa New Zealand and Miss Samoa Australia) in sending “one” title holder to represent the USA.

The Honorable Misa Telefoni (Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Tourism) along with Matatamalii Sonja Hunter (Chief Executive Officer) and other members of the Board will officially open The Miss Samoa USA Pageant on July 26, 2008 in Salt Lake City, UT.
